Hotel Plaza Kokai Cancun, Cancun

My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the location was great for accessing downtown and having a quick bus ride to various attractions, the outdated and noisy air conditioning in the rooms made it hard to rest properly. The rooms had a dark and slightly stale feel, and the noise from neighboring rooms, combined with a faint cigarette smell, was not the most enjoyable. On the flip side, the proximity to public transport was convenient, although the noise levels were sometimes high due to ongoing construction.

The hotel is not ideal for those who need quick access to a cool room due to the outdated A/C system requiring a room key card. The beds are uncomfortable, and the location is not convenient for nearby amenities. On the positive side, there are transportation options nearby like the ADO bus service.

The hotel is conveniently located close to the city center and the bus station, making it suitable for travelers who need easy access. While the rooms had a dark feel and some noise issues, the connecting setup with a sliding door offered privacy. Unfortunately, there was a strange odor upon entering. The service was lacking with selective attention and an attitude problem at times. The location is good for those seeking a budget-friendly stay near urban amenities or needing quick bus access. The dining experience fell short of expectations with basic offerings. The facilities were average, with some room for improvement.
